Zoning System

Triggers devices in certain areas (i.e speed savure)

The Zoning system triggers Transmon devices in certain areas.  It is bespoke to a specific site and can help control factors such as speed (i.e zone speed Savure) in certain areas.

  • An Active RFID Receiver system will be installed and commissioned to each truck.
  • Multiple RFID Active Tags are installed in the floor of the entrance / exit. Zone 1 & Zone 2 type’s tags will have been programmed. This defines the 2 zones of low speed or high speed.

  • If speed reduction is not required then warning devices (beacons & audible warning) can be triggered to create additional awareness to alert pedestrians that a truck is in close proximity and that they should take caution.
  • When the truck detects a Zone 1 tag the dash mounted indicator shows yellow and the operator is able to select high speed via a dash mounted push button. When in high speed the dash mounted indicator shows RED. The operator has the ability to toggle high/low speed at any time.
  • When the truck detects a low speed tag the dash mounted indicator shows green and the truck defaults to low speed and automatically slows down when returning to the entrance.
